TONY ANDERSON

                                      CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

The dedication and hard work of our team are yielding results, with several key CSA projects available,
nearing completion or set to launch soon.

          Assessment Panel & Membership Applications

The first quarter of 2025 has seen a record number of individual applications across the Commissioning,
Water Treatment, and Commissioning Management pathways. Additionally, there has been a significant
rise in CxM Dissertations and interviews. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to finalize
          all applications.

Associate & Corporate Membership applications also continue to see strong engagement, covering the
          UK and overseas.

          Commissioning Management Core Concepts Course
Designed specifically for Commissioning Managers, this course aligns fully with CIBSE CCM Commissioning
Code M: Commissioning Management. The inaugural two-day Core Concepts course, held in February,
was a significant milestone as it marked CSA’s first self-delivered training program.

Feedback on the course content and delivery has been overwhelmingly positive, driving high demand—
so much so that the first three scheduled sessions have already sold out. More dates will be released
throughout the rest of the year. If you are looking to book your place onto the next available course,
          please contact office@csa.org.uk

Industry Collaborations: CIBSE, BSRIA & BESA

Our collaborative efforts continue to make progress:
          • The updated CIBSE CCW Commissioning Code W: Water Distribution Systems has successfully
passed its final peer review and is expected to be published soon.
          • CIBSE Several new projects are in their initial concept stages, with more details to be shared in due
            course.
          • Our partnership with BESA has led to the development of the Water Treatment DLC A Test and
Commissioning Grade 4 Combined Test, both of which are now live.

          Water Treatment Developments

Under the leadership of Roger Carlin and his team, significant advancements have been made in Water
          Treatment coursework:

          • DLC B has now been released
          • DLC C to follow shortly

We extend our thanks to Roger and the entire Water Treatment team for their dedication and hard work,
bringing much needed training material to the industry.

          Updated Grade 4 Commissioning Examination

We have revised the Grade 4 Commissioning Exam, integrating both the technical and theoretical test
papers into a single exam format for all new candidates. To register for the Grade 4 Commissioning
