CHAIRMAN ' S CHARITY

This year the Chairman chose to support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. This world-
famous hospital stops at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller,
          longer and much more fun.

Our donation will help them treat the hundreds of children from all over the UK who are seen
by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day and those children with rare or complex diseases
          from across the globe.

As the Chairman said at the Awards, his family
has been fortunate enough not to need their
services. He has, however, been involved in some
of their construction projects over the years and
has seen what they can achieve with relatively
          little resources.

Great Ormond Street Hospital first opened its
doors on Valentine’s Day in 1852 with just 10 beds.
Now, it’s one of the world’s leading children’s
hospitals and home to vital advancements in
paediatric medicine and care. They’ve already
helped to innovate better treatments for things
such as cancer and epilepsy, develop new cures
and advance technology for the treatment of
other rare or complex childhood illnesses.

We must also remember that it’s not just the
treatments they provide, but also the bright
and positive environment they provide for both
the children and for their loved ones, including
things like the Patient Hotel that allows a parent
to be with their child 24/7.

But there’s so much more to do. This extraordinary
hospital has always depended on charitable
support to go above and beyond for seriously
ill children and their families. The money we
raised will go some small way to help them help
the children of this generation and all those to
          come.

We raised a total of £2,605.00 at the gala awards.

          THANK YOU!
